"Owner Jae Chung has probably done more for Asian food in Boston than any one person, place or restaurant---Chinatown included. His Jae's Cafe has its own contemporary style and an eclectic crowd to match. Equally dapper is the enormous menu, which manages to hopscotch between Korea, Thailand and Japan, even pulling off a few fusion moves as well. The sushi is swimmingly fresh and the Korean staples are assembled with intelligence. In addition, order anything vegetarian, the beautifully balanced pad thai or the delicate shu mai, and you'll leave happy.

| "Jae's cafe is gooooood. Great place for take-out, and even better for dine-in I think. I've split the sushi-boat for 2 with a friend on a variety of occasions and its been very high quality fish each time. I'd also highly recommend the spicy tuna rolls, edemame (spelling?), and their miso soup. All great items, great waitstaff, and a fun place to go for a nice night out." -Yelp.com |
